Three Arraigned In Murder Of Guyanese

CaribWorldNews, SCHENECTADY, NY, Fri. May 21, 2010: Three Guyanese nationals were yesterday arraigned on second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of a fellow Guyanese immigrant.

Vishan Parbhudial, 23, Angelene Parbudial, 21 and Dhanashar Persaud, 26, were all arraigned Thursday in Schenectady County court.

The three are accused of killing Ganesh Ramgoolam, 24, as he got out of a vehicle on February 20th. The suspects reportedly opened fire, hitting Ramgoolam five times.

All three defendants have pleaded not guilty and are awaiting bail hearings. They were indicted by a grand jury last week.
