CaribWorldNews, SILVER SPRING, Md., Fri. Sept. 18, 2009: The killer of a 37-year-old Jamaican woman remains on the lam even as police continue to look for clues into the shocking murder.

Simone White, who worked two jobs in her adopted home state of Maryland, was found dead last Wednesday morning inside an apartment complex, according to Montgomery County police.

Officers were called to the 14100 block of Castle Boulevard following a report of shots fired and found the body of White in an elevated walkway between her apartment building and a complex parking lot.

The Jamaican migrant was pronounced dead on the scene. Now her relatives want answers into the surprising murder of the telephone operator at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza Hotel in D.C., and medical records clerk at the offices of Washington Eye Physicians and Surgeons in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

White was married, but did not live with her husband. Police are asking anyone with information about the crime to call 240-773-5070.
