Notary Found Dead In Haiti


News Americas, PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti, Mon. Aug. 29, 2011: The investigation into the murder of a well known Haitian notary continues.

The body of notary Gilbert Giordani was found dumped on a hilly road in the Canape Vert neighborhood of Port-Au-Prince Saturday morning.

Police spokesman Frantz Lerebours says Giordani was snatched while driving his BMW on a side street near downtown Port-au-Prince Friday evening.
