St. George’s, Grenada: March 12-14, 2024 are the dates set for the Republic Bank Inter-Secondary School Athletic Championships (“INTERCOL”).

In her message, she challenged the students to see 2024 as “the year of opportunity for our athletes” She further commented: “Grenada’s hosting of the Junior Carifta games right on the heels of Intercol, should serve as a motivating factor for each student to aspire to do his or her best; to stretch yourself beyond your comfort zone – make that extra push, that extra jump, extra throw, run that extra mile; do whatever you have to do to secure a spot at the Carifta Games and beyond.”
Various other officials attended and delivered remarks as well. They include ACP Douglas of The Royal Grenada Police Force, who outlined measures to be taken to ensure the safety of all attendees at the games.
