Slain Mexican Journalists May Get Justice

News Americas, MEXICO CITY, Mexico, Tues. Oct. 3, 2011: Two female Mexican journalists whose bound, naked bodies were found last month in a park, may soon get justice.

Police in Mexico City say they have arrested two people in connection with the killings of the Marcela Yarce and Rocio Gonzalez.

An autopsy showed the women were asphyxiated and later shot. Yarce founded a political magazine but was no longer reporting and Gonzalez was a freelance journalist and owned a money-exchange business.

The suspects have not been identified but authorities say the fingerprints of one of them were found inside the vehicle of one of the journalists.
