Days before celebrating the forty-seventh anniversary since its entrance into the automotive industry, one of the leading companies the business, Steele’s Auto, introduced a brand new inclusion to their assortment of vehicles imported into Grenada.
The new Vitera 2016, a state of the art vehicle equipped with some of the most advanced technology, was officially unveiled to the public during a special ceremony at the company’s show room in Grand Anse last Thursday.
Suzuki’s Office Manager Abigail Francis, in addressing Thursday’s opening said apart from its attractive looks the new Vitara is equipped with an all grip four wheel drive, four drivers selectable mods, radar brake support, a system that monitors the road and alerts the driver to incoming danger and a cruise control system to make driving easier among other attractive features.
The new Vitara has a manual mod which enables the driver to change gear to his/her liking using paddles on the steering wheel. Additionally there are front and rear parking sensors, a five star rating where safety is concerned.
Nigel Hypolite, Sales Manager at Steeles Auto described the new Vitara as the flagship vehicle in the Suzuki SUVs line up, as the fourth generation of the Suzuki line of product that started in 1988 carrying with it several, top models; Escudo, Grand Vitara, Grand Vitara XL7 among others.
The new design, Hypolite said, launched in October 2014 is a direct response to increased demand for better technology, economy, performance and customer taste. The vehicle he noted can be easily customized to customers’ likes and taste.
The unveiling of the new Vitara was done by Ms Lucy Steele and Ms Michelle Steele. Customers at last Thursday’s launch were also afforded the opportunity to test drive the new vehicle and the rating among the drivers was that it was an enlightening driving experience.
