The Grenada Authority for the Regulation of Financial Institutions (GARFIN) has slammed down on six insurance companies operating on the island.In its 2023 report submitted to Parliament, Garfin said that six companies failed to submit their audited financial statements within the stipulated time frame of six months after the end of their financial year and were therefore fined in accordance with the Insurance Act.
