BREAKINGBREAKING,
At least 35 people have been killed and many others injured after two passenger buses collided on a highway in central Syria.
The collision occurred on Saturday on the Damascus-Deir ez-Zor highway between the cities of Palmyra and Al-Sukhnah.
It is a crucial highway stretching more than 400km that connects eastern Syria to the capital.
According to the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), several helicopters have been sent to the crash site to medically evacuate the injured to Homs Military Hospital.
